About me

I am a Mathematics high school teacher in Reims, France. This page contains documents for the attention of my students and others related to my research.

Research Interests

    From 2012 to 2016, I have been an Applied Mathematics PhD student at Reims University, France. The PhD was under the supervision of Stephanie Salmon (Laboratoire de Mathématiques de Reims) and Hugues Talbot (Laboratoire d'Informatique Gaspard Monge at ESIEE), and also co-advised by Nicolas Passat (CReSTIC at Reims).


    The aim of my thesis was to generate vascular models and simulate blood flows inside these models. A first step consists of segmenting/reconstructing the 3D volume of the vascular network. Once such volumes are segmented and meshed, it is then possible to simulate blood flows.

    My thesis was bi-disciplinary, consisting, on the one hand, in developing segmentation procedures  for cerebral vascular networks using variational methods, and on the other hand, in performing blood flow simulations in these segmented networks using numerical models consistent with Navier-Stokes equations.
